Directions for use:
Paw balm needs to be applied to a clean foot to achieve the best results. If you have a wet washcloth you can use that to wipe the pads off, or apply after bath time. Keep in mind, if there is a lot of hair in between the pads of their feet that will grab a lot of the product. You will not be wasting product if you clean the hair out first.
I highly recommend rubbing another area of the body while you apply this paw balm to keep your pet distracted. You can either take the container directly up to the pad and rub it. Or, for a more thorough job, you can rub some on to your fingers then apply it to their feet by hand. We do not recommend taking out chunks of the balm to apply. Simply run your fingers over the surface to pick up the balm. Large chunks being caked onto the feet can cause a mess….. no one wants that.
**If you notice a pink hue being left behind on a surface, that indicates you are caking on too much at a time. Clean up any paw balm oopsies with a damp washcloth. While it is extremely uncommon, this may stain some surfaces.
** Do not let your pet eat the paw balm or the tin container
I love how hard it is so you don’t get a big glop out and it just takes a little. I have to put some on top of their paw for them to lick or they would lick it off their paws. It must taste good!
